Broadway Jewellers Coronavirus Policy – During Periods of Closure
Broadway Jewellers is a non-essential retail business and is subject to unforeseen store closures during times of National Lockdown, or specific Tier restrictions.
During periods of closure we are unable to offer sales or services through our physical store. We are able to facilitate online purchases if you have a special order you would like us to fulfil – please get in contact direct if this is the case.
If you have a jewellery or watch repair, valuation or item on deposit with us, these remain safe and secure and will be available to you when we re-open.
If you have a Pawnbroking Loan Agreement with us, we will not charge any interest for the period of forced closure. We will not take action against any overdue loans during the period of forced closure. Your goods remain safe and secure and will be available to redeem when we re-open.
At the discretion of the Management we may offer ‘Click and Collect’ days, when customers with goods to collect may attend store to collect their repairs, etc. We will not be offering any other services on these days. Click and Collect repair collections are by pre-arranged invitation only, and will be confirmed using the contact details left with us at the point of booking.

Broadway Jewellers Coronavirus Policy – Changes to Standard Opening Practice
Broadway Jewellers have undertaken several changes to make our practices as safe as possible for both our staff and customers during the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.
Clear shields have been positioned on the serving counters to enable staff and customers to be protected by a physical barrier.
Hand sanitiser and disposable face masks are available for customer use. Our staff will wear face masks or visors whilst serving, and are reminded to wash or sanitise their hands between customer visits. We ask that all customers wear suitable face coverings unless medically exempt. These should be put on before entering the store. Customers who are not wearing a face mask will be offered one by staff.
To support social distancing, we have imposed a limit of two customer groups in the shop at any time. If we are already at this limit, you may have to wait to be admitted to the store and we thank you for your patience. To assist with social distancing, please shop alone when possible.
As well as an enhanced daily cleaning routine we have increased the frequency with which we clean high touch-point areas, such as the doorbell, door handle, card machine and serving trays. Broadway Jewellers has invested in UV sterilisation technology to allow us to sterilise our jewellery before and after a customer has tried it on.
We continue to accept cash, however contactless payments are encouraged for suitable transactions.
Whilst we do our best to maintain services as normal, some of our services may be affected, for example extended repair times. We will endeavour to mitigate any disruption to services but appreciate your understanding when this is not possible.
Broadway Jewellers would remind customers not to attend store if showing any of the main symptoms of Covid-19, and to instead stay home and book a Coronavirus test.
